Recently we got a very nice donation from Akhil, who is a student at Dougherty Valley High School. Akhil grows plants and sells them. The funds he raised he donated to CalPaws k9 Rescue. We love the create ways in which the youth think about giving back to the community. These funds will help to subsidize a spay for a family or who could not afford to pay to get their pet fixed.#Giving back, #not a bandaid, #finding solutions, supporting community!
