Hello! I am Akhil Muthyala, The Founder of The Ahimsa Store.

The Ahimsa Store’s mission is to help as many shelter animals as possible. Our vision is that one day we shouldn’t have to.

Ahimsa in Sanskrit means ‘Non-violence. And this principle is the foundation behind the idea of The Ahimsa Store. Our store is one of a kind…we do not sell for profit, we sell for a purpose. And our purpose is to help as many shelter animals as we possibly can!

We collect donations for animal shelters and Rescues through many initiatives. One of our main initiatives is called ‘Garden for Good’ where we collect plants and garden items from the community and sell them offline at adoption events and online marketplaces to raise donations for shelters and Rescues. Every dollar earned goes to help an animal in need.
